Willie Snead named new Pope John Paul II head football coach

Pope John Paul II brought in a familiar name to be its new coach.

The Eagles named Willie Snead as its new head football coach Friday. Snead replaces Matt Dillon, who spent four seasons with the Eagles and was the school’s athletic director. Dillon took the head football coaching position at Miami-LaSalle High School this week. [More]

Football: Matchups for 2014 State Champions Bowl Series announced

The matchups for the inaugural Burger King State Champions Bowl Series are set.

The six teams participating were revealed Tuesday, as Jacksonville-Trinity Christian, Miami Central and Miami-Washington will represent Florida. Meanwhile, Eastside Catholic and Bothell from Washington,  and Bingham from Utah will travel to play in the showcase event. [More]
