Nu’Keese Richardson’s UF enrollment delayed

By Jason Lieser

Pahokee star Nu’Keese Richardson committed to Florida last May with the intent to enroll and participate in 2009 spring practices. That won’t happen.

No reason was given, but Richardson will remain at Pahokee High for one more semester before joining the Gators. He is expected to play a role similar to Percy Harvin’s when he arrives.

Fellow Gators commit Jon Bostic, an outside linebacker from Palm Beach Central, is enrolled at Florida after graduating early.

Richardson’s former teammates Brandin Hawthorne, a linebacker, and Vincent Smith, a running back, have enrolled at Michigan and will practice this spring.
