NY Jets WR David Clowney to host all-star football camp

The camp is from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 at the Delray Beach Soccer Complex at 2505 N. Seacrest Blvd.

It is free and open to Palm Beach County high school varsity football players. The day will consist of one-on-one instruction from NFL players and conclude with a round robin 7-on-7 tournament, a nutritional workshop to teach the young athletes how to take care of their bodies on and off the field, and an informational session for parents conducted by the National College Scouting Association.

NFL players scheduled to participate include: David Clowney (New York Jets), Chad Pennington (Miami Dolphins), LaMarr Woodley (Pittsburgh Steelers), Al Harris (Green Bay Packers), Antonio Freeman (former Green Bay Packers/Philadelphia Eagles), Nate Harris (New York Jets), D’Brickashaw Ferguson (New York Jets), Abram Elam (Cleveland Browns), Vernon Gholston (New York Jets), Eric Green (Miami Dolphins), Kareem Brown (New York Jets), Vince Hall (Buffalo Bills), Drew Coleman (New York Jets), Sinorice Moss (New York Giants), Wallace Wright (New York Jets) and Stanley Daniels (New York Jets).

Participating high schools include: Atlantic, Palm Beach Lakes, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, Suncoast, West Boca, Pope John Paul II, Village Academy, Park Vista, Dwyer, Forest Hill and Pahokee.
