American Heritage, Jupiter Christian move opener back

By Jason Lieser

A scheduling conflict for Jupiter Christian will give the Eagles and American Heritage their own stage in the season’s opening week.

The game was originally scheduled for Sept. 4 at South Fork, but now will be played Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. at Jensen Beach High School.

Week 1 is loaded with great matchups (including Atlantic at Pahokee and Glades Central at Dwyer), but now American Heritage and Jupiter Christian will have the attention all to themselves on a Saturday night. This might be the best small-school game of the season it has a better chance of drawing a big crowd now that they bumped it back a day.
