Pahokee drops out of Beef O’Brady’s poll

By Jason Lieser

The statewide media no longer believes Pahokee is a top-25 team.

Following the Blue Devils’ 47-21 loss to Glades Central in Saturday’s Muck Bowl, Pahokee fell out of the poll from the No. 24 position. The Blue Devils finished nine voting points behind No. 25 Miramar this week. Voting is done on a 25-24-23-22-21… basis, meaning a first-place vote is worth 25 points, while a 25th-place vote is worth one point.

The previous week, Pahokee dropped from 16th to No. 24.

Glades Central stayed at No. 2 and Dwyer climbed one spot to No. 5. Boca Raton received votes also, but finished just behind the Blue Devils
