State football championships on TV

Can’t make it to Orlando? You’ll have a better view, cheaper food and more comfortable seat staying home and watching this year’s state championship games on TV.

Sun Sports and FOX Sports Florida will have all eight title games, broadcast by Whit Watson (play-by-play), Brady Ackerman (analyst) and Jessica Blaylock (sideline). Most of the games will be live, though Friday’s American Heritage game will be shown on tape delay in South Florida.

Here is the schedule (please note the channel for each game):

Friday

1pm, Class 1B: Glades Day vs. Warner Christian, Sun Sports

Saturday

12:30 a.m., Class 1A: American Hertiage vs. Trinity Christian (tape delay), Sun Sports

1pm, Class 2B: Bolles vs. Tampa Catholic, Sun Sports

7pm, Class 2A: Cocoa vs. Glades Central, Sun Sports

Fri., Dec. 18

1pm, Class 3A: Teams TBD, Sun Sports

7pm, Class 5A: Teams TBD, Sun Sports

Sat., Dec. 19

1pm, Class 4A: Teams TBD, FS Florida

7pm, Class 6A: Teams TBD, FS Florida (replay 10:30 p.m. on Sun Sports)
