Jupiter Christian on a roll going into final week of regular season

By Post Staff

The Jupiter Christian girls have won six straight games, including a couple of big wins over Martin County and King’s Academy. The Eagles are 17-4 and earned the No. 1 seed in the northern division of District 13-2A. American Heritage is the No. 1 seed in the southern division.

“I feel like the last couple of games have really helped us,” Jupiter Christian coach Tammy Evans said. “We beat Martin County and that boosted our confidence and we beat Calvary Christian and that was a good win for us. Getting those two wins boosted our confidence and obviously, this one (beating King’s Academy) has as well.”

Evans reached a milestone on Jan. 21 notching her 50th win in her three seasons as Jupiter Christian’s coach when the Eagles beat John Carroll on Jan. 21. Christina Hale also reached a milestone recently by getting to 1,000 career points.
