Dennis Hall, Mr. Dependable, thrilled about FAMU

By Jason Lieser

Pahokee’s Dennis Hall has been one of the area’s best possession receivers over the past two seasons and now he’s taking his reliable hands to Florida A&M.

Hall said today he is elated over becoming a Rattler.

“If Florida State offered me today, I’d still go to FAMU,” he said. “I love it.”

Hall (5-11, 175) caught 23 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown this season. He is a cousin of former Pahokee and FSU great Anquan Boldin, now a receiver for the Arizona Cardinals.

As a junior in 2008, Hall scored the game-winning touchdown for Pahokee with 55 seconds left in the Class 2B championship.

All commitments are non-binding. No player is locked into a school until he signs a national letter of intent. The first day seniors can sign is Feb. 3, national signing day.
