Georgia State adds Albert Wilson

By Jason Lieser

Port St. Lucie’s multi-threat athlete Albert Wilson is the area’s second player to commit to the first-year program at Georgia State.

Last season, Wilson threw for 1,019 yards and nine touchdowns, ran for 824 yards and 11 touchdowns and caught two passes for 40 yards.

Georgia State already has five local players on its roster and got a commitment from American Heritage cornerback Isaiah Howard earlier this month.

All commitments are non-binding. No player is locked into a school until he signs a national letter of intent. The first day seniors can sign is Feb. 3, national signing day.
