The New Orleans Saints’ Super Bowl championship party will roll into Jupiter this weekend.

Saints fullback Heath Evans, a former King’s Academy star, expects several of his teammates, as well as other NFL headliners, to play in Saturday’s charity softball game at Roger Dean Stadium.

Linebacker Jonathan Vilma, a former University of Miami star, is expected to participate. The Heath Evans Foundation said in a press release it also is planning on appearances from Patriots WR Randy Moss and Patriots LB Adalius Thomas.

Former area high school players are also expected to play, including Bears WR Devin Hester (Suncoast), Browns DB Abram Elam (Cardinal Newman) and Chiefs DB Brandon Flowers (Atlantic).

The NFL players will take on members of the Palm Beach County SWAT force.

The game is Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for general admission and $20 for reserved seats. They can be bought at the stadium box office or on ticketmaster.com.

The event is intended to raise money to assist victims of sexual abuse. Last year the inaugural game drew 5,000 people.

In addition to the actual game, there will be a raffle and a home run derby.

UPDATE: The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office sent out a press release Tuesday morning with a list of players scheduled to appear. An event representative also gave confirmation on some players who won’t appear.

In addition to those named above, PBSO expects appearances from Saints QB Mark Brunell, TE Jeremy Shockey and WR Lance Moore; Patriots WR Wes Welker and RB Kevin Faulk; Colts S Bob Sanders and Chiefs QB Matt Cassel.
