Heath Evans Foundation 7-on-7 this Saturday at King’s Academy

Just a reminder that the Heath Evans Foundation 7-on-7 is this Saturday at King’s Academy. Round robin games begin at 9 a.m. and single elimination games will begin at around 12:45 p.m. The Championship game is schedule for 3 p.m.

Admission is $5 for the day’s events and proceeds will benefit the Heath Evans Foundation, which “brings hope and healing to families affected by childhood sexual abuse.”

The winner goes on to play in the USA Today 7-on-7 National Tournament June 26-27 in Williamsburg, Va. This is the only qualifying tournament in Florida for the 10-team USA Today 7-on-7.

Teams scheduled to participate are Delray Beach American Heritage, Park Vista, Miramar, Mainland, Tampa Plant, Atlantic, Dwyer, South Dade, Glades Day, Belen Jesuit, Booker T Washington, Glades Central, The King’s Academy, Olympic Heights, Royal Palm Beach, John I. Leonard and Carol City Senior.

Also scheduled is a Lineman’s Challenge, KidZone, and a Beat the Pro competition featuring NFL players. Players scheduled to attend are Heath Evans (Saints), Randy Moss (Patriots), Vince Wilfork (Patriots), Kevin Faulk (Patriots), Abe Elam (Browns) and David Clowney (Jets). (subject to change).
