Jupiter Christian-Summit Christian game rescheduled

By Matt Porter

Friday night’s game between Jupiter Christian and Summit Christian has been moved to Monday at 7 p.m.
“It caught us all by surprise,” Jupiter Christian running back Trey Pendergrass said.

Summit Christian coach Bill Caesar said none of his players would have missed the game due to disciplinary issues; it was a variety of injuries that left him with a swiss-cheese roster of 16.

“Ankle, hamstring, you name it. It’s just a bad week this week,” Caesar said. “We only started out with 25 players anyway.”

The game will be played at Memorial Park in Lake Worth, where Summit Christian plays its home games.

Jupiter Christian quarterback Keddy Bostic, who suffered a head injury during last week against East Ridge (Colo.) in Orlando, will a little extra time to recover.

“There are a few benefits to it,” Pendergrass said.
