About NCAA letters of intent:
To enroll in January, prospective student-athletes may sign a letter of intent early beginning Wed., Nov. 10 and ending on Nov. 17.
The early signing period covers basketball, baseball, volleyball and all other sports besides football, field hockey, soccer, track and field, cross county and men’s water polo.
Junior college football players can transfer to NCAA schools from Dec. 15-Jan. 15, 2011.
The regular signing period for football is from Feb. 2-April 1, 2011. The regular signing period for basketball is April 13-May 18, 2011.
For all other sports, the regular signing period is April 13-Aug. 1, 2011.
