Wes Leonard, 16, made a layup with under 30 seconds left to help his Fennville High team defeat Bridgman High in the final game of the regular season. Fennville finished the season 20-0 with the win, and Leonard and his teammates were grouping together for a post-game team photo when he collapsed.

He was rushed to hospital, but died. Doctors said Leonard’s death was from cardiac arrest caused by an enlarged heart.
