Football: Four Palm Beach County players in Rivals’ top 250 preseason rankings

The two top linemen in Palm Beach County are among the top 100 seniors in the country, according to 

Palm Beach Gardens’ Avery Young and Boynton Beach’s Jessamen Dunker are in the top half of the recruiting site’s first top 100 list of the season, released this morning. 

Young is ranked 38th. Dunker checks in at No. 49. 

Young (6-6, 290) is the top player on the PBGametime preseason Big Board. He holds more than 30 scholarship offers from some of the top BCS programs, including Auburn, Oklahoma, Alabama and Florida.

Dunker (6-6, 315), ranked No. 3 on the Big Board, has more than 25 scholarship offers and has committed to Florida. 

UPDATE: Two more Palm Beach County players made Rivals’ list of the top 250 national recruits.

Palm Beach Central wide receiver Angelo Jean-Louis (6-0, 185) is ranked as a four-star recruit and checks in at No. 113. He recently committed to Miami.

Dwyer left tackle and defensive tackle Patrick Miller (6-6 3/4, 260) is also a four-star recruit and is ranked No. 199. He lists Florida, LSU and Auburn as his top three schools.

In total, 34 of Rivals’ top 250 upcoming seniors are from Florida high schools. Five of the top 25, 10 of the top 50 and 18 of the top 100 are from the Sunshine State. The top-rated Florida player is Jacksonville-Bolles lineman Jon Theus (6-6, 292), the No. 7 overall prospect.
