Atlantic WR Ezekiel Turner heads to Findlay

By Jeff Greer

Atlantic receiver Ezekiel Turner said Thursday night that he would attend the University of Findlay in Ohio instead of FIU. Sources said last week that Turner had been a victim of FIU oversigning players to football scholarships.

Turner (5-11, 180, No. 19 on the 2011 Big Board) originally signed with FIU on national signing day on Feb. 2. He was a Post All-Area honorable mention in 2010. He had 33 catches for 345 yards and three touchdowns as a senior.

Findlay is a Division II program that plays in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Ohio Dominican, a school that has snapped a handful of area recruits this year, also plays in the GLIAC.
