Atlantic alum Jayron Hosley to be featured on ESPN Sports Science

By Matt Porter

At Virginia Tech, former Atlantic standout Jayron Hosley has earned a reputation as one of the nation’s best cornerbacks. Now, ESPN wants to make an example of him.

Hosley, who was recently named to the preseason all-ACC team, will be featured on ESPN’s Sports Science, the SportsCenter segment that shows the physics behind the most extreme movements in sports.

The feature on Hosley, which according to the Washington Post will air later this fall, will break down the speed, vision and reaction time he uses to intercept a pass.

Hosley led the nation with nine interceptions in 2010, his junior year, and was named an All-American. ESPN’s Todd McShay projects him as a top-10 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
