FHSAA announces new broadcasting network for high school sports

By Jeff Greer

The Florida High School Athletic Association today announced the creation of its own network that will broadcast live state-level competitions online.

Through FHSAAsports.com (which still wasn’t a working web address as of Wednesday afternoon), games will be produced and broadcast by PlayOn! Sports. Fans will able to see live games as well as on-demand, archived broadcasts of old games. The programming schedule will start this fall, with broadcasts of swimming and diving, girls’ volleyball and football finals.

The new partnership also allows for schools to share their content with FHSAAsports.com, which will provide links to school sites from all over the state.
