Football: Forest Hill athlete Mikey Bullard commits to FAU

By Jeff Greer

Forest Hill senior athlete Mikey Bullard verbally committed to FAU on Sunday, his coach Chris Kokell said.

Bullard (5-9, 160, No. 58 on the Big Board) chose the Owls over Memphis, Tulane and Western Michigan. Louisiana Tech, UTEP and Robert Morris had also expressed interest in the athlete.

This past season, Bullard played multiple roles for Forest Hill, including receiver, running back, cornerback, safety, kick returner and even quarterback. He produced 1,127 yards of total offense and scored 11 touchdowns. He also threw a touchdown pass and returned a kickoff for a touchdown. On defense, Bullard had three interceptions.

FAU now has verbal commitments from three Palm Beach County. American Heritage running back Jeremy Gaskins and Atlantic receiver Chad Ward have also committed to FAU.
