Football recruiting: Four Palm Beach County prospects in final Rivals250

By Matt Porter

With signing day precisely two weeks away, Rivals.com has released its final rankings for the 2012 recruiting class.

The four Palm Beach County prospects on the list are well known to anyone who follows area recruiting. Palm Beach Gardens’ Avery Young, Boynton Beach’s Jessamen Dunker, Palm Beach Central’s Angelo Jean-Louis and Dwyer’s Patrick Miller have made slight gains or drops, but have been on the list all season. We’ve also written plenty about them here at the Post.

Young, No. 74 overall, is No. 13 in Florida and 12th among national offensive linemen. He is considering Auburn, Georgia, Florida, and will visit Miami this weekend. Alabama is also trying to land him.

Young will announce his college decision at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 at Palm Beach Gardens High, Gardens coach Chris Davis said. His decision will be aired on ESPN as part of the network’s signing day coverage.

Dunker, No. 108 overall, is No. 21 in Florida and 16th among national offensive linemen. He enrolled at Florida last week.

Jean-Louis, No. 116 overall, is No. 24 in Florida and eighth among national athletes. He is a Miami commit and plans to visit Coral Gables this weekend with Young.

Miller, No. 225 overall, is No. 35 in Florida and 27th among national offensive linemen. He enrolled at Auburn last week after a recruiting snag at LSU.
