Girls soccer: FACA all-star game in Tampa March 2-3

The Florida Athletic Coaches Association announced the rosters for its girls soccer all-star game, to be held this weekend at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Boca Raton’s Savannah Poole and Sabrina Marasco, Spanish River’s Olivia Grossman, Jensen Beach’s Taylor Townsend and Catherine Rizzuti will play for the South team, made up of Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and some Treasure Coast players.

Jensen Beach coach Patti Morris is a South assistant.

Treasure Coast’s Kaitlyn Spera will play for the East team.

The North, South, East and West teams will play a two-day tournament at USF’s Corbett Stadium, its sparkling new soccer pitch.

The East and West teams will play at 6 p.m. Friday. The North and South will play at 8. The consolation and championship games are at 10 a.m. and noon Saturday.

Admission is $5 per day. Children 12 and under are free.
