Flag football: Seminole Ridge, Boynton Beach, Palm Beach Gardens among Florida’s top teams

By Matt Porter

Joe Pinkos’ power ratings, a staple of football season, have been compiled for flag football for the first time this spring.

Seminole Ridge, Boynton Beach and Palm Beach Gardens are 2-3-4 in the top 25 in the state. That’s according to Pinkos’ formula, which takes into account wins, losses and strength of schedule.

Jupiter (No. 11) is also in the top 25.

District tournaments begin April 23. The state finals begin May 4 in Tallahassee.
