Football: Park Vista OL Nathan Kengle commits to Mount Union

By Jeff Greer

Correction: Park Vista has had seven players commit to or sign with colleges. The earlier version of this post only said three.

Park Vista coach Brian Dodds said earlier this winter that he’d advised offensive lineman Nathan Kengle to remain patient with his recruiting process. Turns out Kengle’s patience paid off.

Kengle (6-3, 260, No. 65 on the Big Board) verbally committed to Mount Union on Wednesday and hopes to sign by next week. Kengle is the seventh graduating Park Vista football player to pick a college. Deontre Burney (Kentucky Christian) and Sam Weimerskirtch (Webber International) signed with their respective schools last week. Shane Bussey will play baseball and football at Maine, and Din Regis (Methodist), Mike Morakis (Faulkner) and D’Andre Coleman (Kentucky Christian) fill out the class.

Mount Union is a Division III program in Alliance, Ohio.
