By Jeff Greer

American Heritage soccer star Brian James this week added to his long list of accolades.

The two-time Post player of the year was named Florida Gatorade Boys Soccer Player of the Year. He’s the fourth player from Heritage to receive the honor.

The midfielder scored 24 goals and tallied 55 assists for the Stallions, who reached the Class 2A state semifinals. He also made the ESPN All-America team and has played for the US under-18 national team.
