Updated to include information about the lineman challenge
Atlantic and Palm Beach Gardens will join the Heath Evans 7-on-7 field this summer, helping to fill the field of 16 for the popular yearly event.

Dwyer and King’s Academy are the only other Palm Beach County teams playing in the tournament, which starts at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at King’s. The championship game is slated for 4 p.m. that day.

Oakland Park-Northeast was the 16th and final team to complete the field, which also features Class 8A state champion Tampa Plant and runner-up Miramar, along with with Dade powers Miami Central and Booker T. Washington.

Here’s the full list of teams playing:

Chaminade Madonna
Cypress Bay

And yes, there will be the annual lineman challenge, too. The Chick-Fil-A Lineman’s Challenge will have a combine-style bench press, an agility challenge course and head-to-head tire flip over a 30-yard course. There will be both an individual and team champion.
