Bostwick, Likely stay in Rivals Top 250 prospect rankings

By Jeff Greer

Yesterday’s Rivals Top 100 left out two area prospects who’d made the original list: Centennial defensive tackle Jaynard Bostwick and Glades Central cornerback Will Likely. Today’s Top 250 provided a rankings safety net for two of the area’s top recruits.

Bostwick (6-foot-4, 290 pounds) dropped to No. 125, a 40-spot decline. Likely (5-7, 170) fell 104 spots to No. 183. Glades Day running back Kelvin Taylor (92) and American Heritage tailback Greg Bryant (28) made the Rivals Top 100.

Bostwick is still rated the ninth-best defensive tackle in the country. Rivals recruiting analyst Chris Nee told the Post yesterday that Likely’s size was his biggest detriment, which prompted the precipitous drop in Likely’s ranking. He’s still the seventh-ranked defensive back in the nation.
