Atlantic DE Todney Evans commits to Western Michigan

By Jeff Greer

Atlantic defensive end Todney Evans has a verbal offer from Western Michigan, and he wants them to feel the love back.

That’s why Evans, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound senior, verbally pledged to the Broncos on Thursday, potentially becoming the sixth Palm Beach County product to suit up for WMU in recent years.

Evans is the second Atlantic senior to commit, following defensive tackle Keith Bryant, who gave Miami his verbal commitment.

Western Michigan’s roster currently boasts Pahokee’s Rontavious Atkins, Palm Beach Lakes’ Johnnie Simon, Glades Central’s Jaime Wilson, Atlantic’s Ronald Zamort and Lake Worth’s Junior Estelus.
