Fort Pierce Central RB Marcus Levy commits to Bowling Green

By Matt Porter

Bowling Green was one of the first schools to visit Marcus Levy after he decided to drop his commitment to Cincinnati. Being proactive paid off for the Falcons.

On Monday they secured a commitment from Levy, Fort Pierce Central’s standout running back. TCPalm.com first reported the news.

Levy, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound senior, put up 809 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns in nine games. He missed two games due to an ankle injury.

As a junior, he led the Treasure Coast with 1382 yards and 18 touchdowns in 11 games.

He committed to Cincinnati in July, but backed off in December following the resignation of head coach Butch Jones.

Seminole Ridge defensive end Jason Shepherd and cornerback Omar Pierre-Louis are also committed to Bowling Green.
