FAU football getting a surprise visitor this weekend

By Jeff Greer

With nine days remaining until national signing day, Florida Atlantic has scheduled a visitor who might raise some eyebrows.

Atlantic defensive tackle Keith Bryant (6-2, 300, No. 3 on the Big Board) told the Post on Friday he’ll spend his final official visit before signing day on the Owls’ Boca campus. Bryant, who visited South Carolina this past weekend and said Florida State, South Carolina and Miami are in his final three, will make the trip with teammate Todney Evans, a Western Michigan and Middle Tennessee target. Asked if he was serious about visiting FAU over other suitors like LSU and Alabama, Bryant simply confirmed the visit, this time in all caps.

Here’s more from today on Bryant’s recruitment from our FSU writer Tom D’Angelo, and here’s a little flavor of how Bryant’s process has gone so far. In short, it’s been a lot of fun.
