Ex-Treasure Coast star Travares Copeland to transfer to North Carolina State

By Jeff Greer

Travares Copeland left West Virginia after the 2012 season, citing “family reasons” for his departure.

The former Fort Pierce Westwood and Treasure Coast quarterback found a new home this weekend. After visiting North Carolina State this weekend, Copeland decided to transfer to the ACC school. He joins ex-Dwyer star and Florida transfer Jacoby Brissett, who joined NC State in January.

Copeland caught 10 passes for 55 yards as a freshman at WVU.
