Dwyer DE Malik Brown chooses Tennessee

By Jeff Greer

Tennessee’s frenetic finish to the recruiting season netted Dwyer’s biggest fish.

Defensive end Malik Brown, at one time a Syracuse verbal commitment, signed Wednesday to play at Tennessee. Brown, a brutish end with good technique and speed, visited Tennessee this past weekend, and the trip to Rocky Top changed it all.

Brown’s teammates Hayden Harrow (Chicago) and Jonathan Moxey (Boise State) also signed on Wednesday, and several other classmates plan to sign before next school year.

Cornerback De’Andre Bozeman said Bethune-Cookman showed serious interest in him and could offer soon. Dwyer head coach Jack Daniels said he expects Bozeman and fellow seniors Jarred Brown and Anthony Williams to sign somewhere this spring.
