Village Academy’s Larry Brihm, Erich Maine sign

By Matt Porter

A year after West Virginia receiver Devonte Robinson became the first Division I signee from Village Academy, two of his former teammates made their choices official.

Quarterback Larry Brihm signed with Bethune-Cookman, and running back and linebacker Erich Maine sent in his letter of intent to Robert Morris in Pittsburgh.

Brihm (6-0, 210) was one of the most productive QBs in his graduating class, throwing for 1,705 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior. Maine (6-1, 220) earned plenty of carries and anchored the Tigers’ defense as a middle linebacker.
