Hoops: Several area stars to play in boys, girls Gatorade all-star games

The Palm Beach County Gatorade All-Star Games feature all kinds of local talent.

Set to tip off Saturday, with the girls’ game at 4 p.m., the Gatorade all-star games at Palm Beach Lakes will feature a girls’ and boys’ team from Palm Beach County. Those teams will take on all-stars from all over the state.

Here’s the schedule of events:

Palm Beach girls vs. Miami-Dade girls, 4 p.m.
Southwest Florida boys vs. Broward boys, 5:45 p.m.
Palm Beach boys vs. Miami-Dade boys, 7:15 p.m.

There will be a halftime dunk contest during the Palm Beach-Dade boys game, and a Palm Beach County male and female player of the year will be selected. Admission is $10 for all three games.
