Seminole Ridge No. 1 in state flag football rankings

Seminole Ridge is favored to repeat as state champion, according to the first Joe Pinkos Power Ratings of the flag football season.

The Hawks (5-0) are one of three area teams on the list. Jupiter (3-0) checks in at No. 18, while Palm Beach Central (4-0) is No. 25.

Pinkos’ rankings are calculated using a formula based on strength of opposition and margin of victory.
