Recruiting notebook: American Heritage, Central, Gardens seniors pick colleges

By Jeff Greer

Several Class of 2013 players — and one 2012er — from Palm Beach County have found college homes after a long wait.

Palm Beach Central held a signing ceremony for four of its graduating seniors on Tuesday. That evening, American Heritage senior two-way lineman Ronald Bell announced he’d attend a Division II program in North Carolina. And on Friday, several Palm Beach Gardens seniors officially picked their colleges.

Here’s the list of this week’s signees and commitments:

American Heritage
Ronald Bell (No. 56 on the Big Board) — Fayetteville State (N.C.)

Palm Beach Central
Conor Chavez — Mississippi College
Cameron Golob — Faulkner College
Wilky Orelien — St. Joseph’s (Ind.)
Nickedel Pierre (No. 62 on the Big Board) — Edward Waters

Palm Beach Gardens
Da’Kwon DePolo (No. 48 on the Big Board) — Gray Military Academy (S.C.)
