Video: Palm Beach State mic’d up at the JUCO World Series

By Matt Porter

By all accounts, Palm Beach State is enjoying its first trip to the junior college national championship.

Before one of the Panthers’ recent games at the National Junior College Athletics Association Division I World Series in Grand Junction, Colo., former Summit Christian right-hander John Costa wore a microphone in this video, produced by local TV station KKCO.

Marvel at the greatness as Costa plays phantom ping-pong with teammate Ryan Pistey, conducts a serious interview with pitching coach Dax Rankine, and offers his thoughts on tight pants.

Palm Beach State, after fighting its way through the elimination bracket, will play the winner of tonight’s Central Alabama-Spartanburg game at 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the final four. All games are streamed live at JUCOGJ.org.
