Boynton Beach CB Kyron Brown pledges to Akron

By Jeff Greer

Kyron Brown is one of several potential Division I prospects at Boynton Beach.

Earlier this week, Brown pledged to sign with Akron, making him the first Class of 2014 Boynton recruit to commit to a school. Brown (5-11, 165) also has a verbal scholarship offer from Western Kentucky. Jacksonville offered Brown a spot as well.

Brown’s the second area player to commit to Akron this week, with Glades Central’s Bernard Willingham also pledging to the Zips.

All commitments are non-binding until Feb. 5, 2014, which is national signing day.
