Dwyer, Glades Central ranked on latest FloridaHSFootball.com poll

By Anthony Chiang

Things look a little different in the latest FloridaHSFootball.com poll that was released following Week 2′s action. Dwyer (2-0), American Heritage (1-1) and Glades Central (1-1) are still included in the rankings, but each team is in a different spot than it was in last week. Dwyer moved up from No.7 to No. 5 after its dominating win over Jupiter. American Heritage fell in the rankings from No. 5 to No. 10 due to its loss to sister school Plantation-American Heritage. However, Glades Central saw its ranking improve from No. 17 to No. 14 with its close win over Palm Beach Central.

There are some teams that did not make this week’s rankings, but did receive votes. Like last week, Fort Pierce Central, Cardinal Newman and Glades Day are on that list. However, Park Vista is new to the list this week after its impressive victory against Palm Beach Gardens. The poll is made up of 22 voters from across the state that rank the top 20 large schools and the top 20 small schools.

Here are the complete rankings:
