Volleyball: New Top 10 entering Week 7

The playoffs are just a couple of weeks away. The Palm Beach Classic has passed and Wellington won it for the third straight year. Now, schools are gearing up for the playoffs, as district tournaments begin in just two weeks.

Here’s the full version of the Post’s Top 10 entering Week 7:

1. Wellington (20-0): The Wolverines won the Palm Beach Classic tournament for the third consecutive season last week.

2. Jupiter (12-2): The Warriors took care of Palm Beach Central in their only match last week.

3. Boca Raton (11-5): Since starting the season 6-0, the Bobcats are 5-5.

4. Benjamin (11-0): The Buccaneers have yet to drop a match this season and face No. 2 Jupiter on Wednesday.

5. Park Vista (16-4): The Cobras swept Spanish River and King’s Academy last week.

6. Lake Worth Christian (10-5): The Defenders finished in second at the Palm Beach Classic.

7. Royal Palm Beach (12-6): The Wildcats dropped in the rankings after a 2-4 week.

8. Dwyer (10-6): The Panthers have won three straight matches.

9. Seminole Ridge (10-5): The Hawks are still in the Top 10 after a decent showing at the Palm Beach Classic.

10. King’s Academy (10-7): After a slow start to the Palm Beach Classic, the Lions won their final two matches of the tournament.

The best of the Treasure Coast:

1. Jensen Beach (13-3): The Falcons earned an impressive win over Boca Raton last week.

2. Martin County (11-6): Following a three-game losing skid, the Tigers have won three of their past four matches.
