Football: Dwyer still No. 1; Fort Pierce Central falls in AP rankings

By Anthony Chiang

The new Associated Press state football rankings are out and not much has changed since last week.

Fort Pierce Central is still part of the Class 8A poll, but the Cobras dropped three spots to No. 8 after losing their first game of the season. In the Class 7A rankings, Dwyer is still No. 1. But this week, the Panthers received all of the first-place votes. Finally, Clewiston is No. 5 in the Class 4A poll for the third consecutive week.
