Football: 22 local players in BCS national championship game

When Florida State and Auburn face off for the BCS national championship on Monday, there will be a lot of familiar faces on the field.

The Seminoles and the Tigers feature a combined 22 players from either Palm Beach County or the Treasure Coast. As expected, Florida State’s roster makes up the majority of that number, as it enters Monday’s contest with 16 players from the area.

Here is a complete breakdown of the local players in Monday’s BCS national championship game:
