Just two weeks after committing and decommitting from Coastal Carolina, Royal Palm Beach linebacker Zeke Edmonds and cornerback Jimmy Moreland made their final decisions.

Edmonds signed with UMass and Moreland signed with James Madison on Wednesday. Edmonds chose the Minutemen over numerous schools, including Coastal Carolina and Marshall. Meanwhile, Moreland chose the Dukes over Toledo and Coastal Carolina.

The decision for Edmonds became clear after the athletic linebacker visited UMass on Jan. 24.

“I feel like UMass is in the rebuilding stage and head coach Mark Whipple is known for winning football games,” Edmonds said. “It’s a great place for me.”

For Moreland, James Madison came into the picture late in the recruiting process. He visited the campus two weeks ago.

“I loved it up there,” Moreland said. “I loved the campus and the surroundings.”

In addition, Royal Palm Beach athlete Alon Sims stuck with Western Michigan after he considered FAU late in the process. Also, Wildcats offensive lineman Junior Pierre signed with New Mexico Military Institute, and offensive lineman Kyle Thies signed with Alabama State.
