Softball: Trinity Christian ranked second in state softball poll

Trinity Christian maintained its No. 2 state ranking in the Class 3A state softball poll released Tuesday by Miracle Sports. The Warriors (14-1) sit just behind No. 1 Miami-Westminster Christian (18-3).Jupiter is one of four area teams ranked in the Class 8A state poll, with two others earning honorable mention status.

The Warriors (18-3) are ranked third, Park Vista (17-6) is fifth, Wellington (17-4) is seventh and Palm Beach Gardens (17-6) is eighth. Spanish River and Treasure Coast were named honorable mention.

Also earning state rankings were Lincoln Park Academy (No. 6) in Class 4A and Boca Raton Christian (No. 6) and Grandview Prep (No. 8) in Class 2A.
