Flag football: Unbeaten Seminole Ridge maintains top state ranking

Seminole Ridge won its 39th consecutive game last week with a 20-0 victory against Apopka, keeping the Hawks at the top of the Florida Flag Football Power 25 state rankings released Monday.

The Hawks are 11-0 heading into the final week of the regular season. Tampa-Robinson (10-0) is No. 2, followed by Apopka (8-1), Ocala-Trinity Catholic (8-0) and Harmony (9-0).

Among local schools, Dwyer (9-1) is ranked ninth and Jupiter (6-2) is 10th.
