Flag football: Seminole Ridge, Dwyer among state’s top 10

By Jodie Wagner

Seminole Ridge maintained its No. 1 ranking and Dwyer held on to its No. 7 position in the Florida Flag Football Power 25 rankings released Monday.

Both teams remain alive in the state playoffs, with the Hawks (14-0) set to play Tuesday in a second-round game. The Panthers (12-1) will play Martin County today in a first-round game that was postponed Saturday because of rain. The winner of that game will play Seminole Ridge.

Rounding out the state’s top five are Tampa-Robinson (15-0), Coconut Creek (14-0), Harmony (13-0) and Apopka (12-2).
