Baseball: Park Vista continues to move up in national rankings

Only two games stand between Park Vista’s baseball team and its first state title.

The Cobras will enter this week’s state tournament as the 33rd best team in the MaxPreps national baseball rankings. Park Vista currently holds a 26-3 record after defeating Palm Beach Gardens and Parkland-Douglas to earn a trip to Fort Myers, where the Cobras will take on Valrico-Bloomingdale in the Class 8A state semifinals on Friday at 1 p.m.
