The rosters for the showcase event were released Sunday and four players from the county were selected. American Heritage infielder Jonathan India, Royal Palm Beach pitcher Triston McKenzie, Park Vista pitcher Austin Smith and Dwyer pitcher Thomas Szapucki will play in the game as part of the East team’s 27-man roster.

The Perfect Game All-American Classic will take place on Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. at San Diego’s PETCO Park. It will be aired live on MLB Network.

India hit .355 with four home runs, 17 RBIs and 19 stolen bases as a junior this past season. Meanwhile, McKenzie was one of the area’s best pitchers, anchoring Royal Palm Beach’s rotation.

Smith was named the Palm Beach Post’s Large Schools Player of the Year as a junior. The 6-foot-4 right-hander led Park Vista to their first state tournament berth since 2011 with a 12-1 record on the mound and a .425 average at the plate.

Finally, Szapucki recorded a 4-1 record to go along with a 0.74 ERA as a junior. The Florida commit struck out 54 batters in 40 innings.
