Recruiting Q&A: Which way is Forest Hill ATH Marcus Frazier leaning?

As recruiting heats up, it’s time we get to know more about some of Palm Beach County’s prospects.

Each Thursday leading up to the football season, we will post a new Q&A with a different 2016 recruit. This week, we’ll focus on Forest Hill ATH Marcus Frazier.

The 6-foot, 185-pound Frazier will line up as quarterback and a safety for the Falcons this fall and is listed at No. 14 on the PBGametime Big Board. He has offers from Bowling Green and Idaho.

With the start of fall practice creeping closer, local players are starting to make commitments.

Over the past seven days, 2016 Oxbridge Academy TE AJ Garson verbally committed to Bowling Green and 2016 Suncoast QB Matt Dame verbally committed to Columbia. (Find out all of the Palm Beach County recruiting news from the past week here)

When Matt Dame visited Columbia University in June, he fell in love.

“The campus is beautiful,” Dame said. “It’s right in the center of New York City. I love everything about the campus. I feel really wanted there.”

The Suncoast quarterback was so impressed that he verbally committed to Columbia on Thursday. Dame chose the Lions over Dartmouth, Harvard and Yale. [More]

AJ Garson opened eyes during spring football.

Bowling Green was one of the schools impressed by the Oxbridge Academy tight end’s combination of size and athleticism, extending an offer to Garson near the start of spring football practice.

It turns out Garson was just as impressed with Bowling Green, verbally committing to the Falcons on Saturday after taking an unofficial visit to the campus last week. The 6-foot-6, 230-pound two-star prospect chose Bowling Green over schools like Cincinnati, Idaho and Oregon State. [More]

The Royal Palm Beach all-around athlete announced his verbal commitment to Oregon State through Twitter on Monday. Eugene chose the Beavers over Cincinnati and Illinois. [More]
