Santaluces WR Langham heading to UM

There was little suspense at Santaluces High on Wednesday, as star receiver Darrell Langham, as promised, signed a national letter of intent with Miami.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound senior verbally committed to the Hurricanes last June and toured the campus Jan. 17. It was Langham’s only official visit during the recruiting season.

“It’s the only place I actually wanted to go,” said Langham, who received offers from Florida State, Arkansas, Illinois and Massachusetts. “It would actually better me as a person.”
