It was another busy week on the recruiting front.

After attending Game 6 of the NBA Finals in Cleveland on Tuesday night, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer was in Boca Raton the next morning.
Meyer and Buckeyes assistant coaches helped out at a satellite high school football camp hosted by Florida Atlantic on Wednesday morning. Owls head coach Charlie Partridge and his staff were also at the camp held at the Tom Oxley Athletic Center on FAU’s campus. [More]

Another Atlantic standout is heading to Michigan.
Eagles cornerback Antwaine Richardson announced his verbal commitment to Michigan through Twitter on Friday, joining the program’s 2016 recruiting class. The Miami Hurricanes’ strong 2016 recruiting class took a hit Wednesday night.
Pahokee running back/defensive back McArthur Burnett announced through Twitter that he had decommitted from the Hurricanes. He’s the second player to take themselves out of Miami’s 2016 recruiting class in the past week, as Fort Pierce Central linebacker Greg Simmons decommitted Monday. [More]

Florida Atlantic continued its recruiting success in Palm Beach County.
American Heritage linebacker Lawrence Graham verbally committed to the Owls on Wednesday. The two-star recruit chose FAU over schools like Army and Colorado State.
“I just really appreciate everything FAU has to offer me,” Graham said. “It’s right in my backyard.”
The 5-foot-10, 214 pound Graham became the first Palm Beach County player to join FAU’s 2016 recruiting class. But if his commitment sticks, he would join the six county players who were part of the Owls’ 2015 recruiting class under head coach Charlie Partridge.

Several members of Miami’s 2016 recruiting class got a chance to compete against each other Sunday at the South Florida Shootout.
The day-long, 48-team, 7-on-7 event hosted by UM was also an opportunity for Wellington receiver Ahmmon Richards to meet St. Thomas Aquinas counterpart Sam Bruce, for linebackers Greg Simmons (Fort Pierce Central) and Zach McCloud (Santaluces) to hang with Shaq Quarterman, who made the trip down from the Orlando area even though his team, Oakleaf High, wasn’t involved.
