2016 Big Board breakdown: No. 5, Devin Singletary

Each weekday leading up to the start of spring practice, we’ll release a new player from the top 10 of our Class of 2016 Big Board and break down his game with an interactive graphic. Today, it’s No. 5, Devin Singletary, a running back at American Heritage.

Singletary was a key part of American Heritage’s prolific offense last season. A durable back who has speed and strength, the 5-foot-9, 195-pound junior averaged 10.7 yards per carry in 2014 and also scored 15 rushing touchdowns.

St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason has plenty of name recognition nationally thanks to his success on the gridiron, first at Auburn and now in the NFL.

But the Park Vista graduate was feeling a little unwelcome back home after a misunderstanding Wednesday. [More]

Burnett was a bright spot on both sides of the ball for Pahokee last season. The UM commit has tremendous speed and quickness, and can make defenders miss in space. He’s also a good receiver out of the backfield.
